Custom Framing

Each frame is made by museum standards. Every frame is crafted from hand-milled walnut wood and sealed with wax. The outer frame members are approximately ⅝–¾" wide by ¾–1" deep (all ordered frames will share exact dimensions). Joints are constructed using miter cuts and reinforced with splines for added strength.

Each frame includes a pine wood strainer, secured to the back for structural support. A French cleat is included for clean and easy wall mounting (please specify if you prefer two D-rings instead).

Framing Options

• Floating artwork (most popular): Artwork is mounted on acid-free foam core with a 1" border, allowing the materiality of the piece to be visible.

• No border: Artwork extends directly to the inner edge of the frame.

• Classic matting: Artwork is sandwiched between two mats.

Mat and foam core colors are customizable (flat black is kept in stock).

Pricing & Sizing

Frames are priced based on overall dimensions (width and length are interchangeable).

Select the size tier that matches or exceeds both the height and width of your artwork.

Orders of 4 or more frames receive a 5% discount.
